What a sweet win by the Red Sox on Tuesday night!
Justin Verlander's streak of consecutive 6-inning starts was ended at 63 games.
The Tigers had the bases loaded with 2 outs in the top of the 6th inning, when the umps called for the tarp. After a 1 hour and 45 minute rain delay - the game was called - the Red Sox were leading the Tigers 4-1.
It's in the books.
