SABBATH STUFF

Hi kids.
What a beautiful day. It's, also, the first full day of NFL football.
How many guys won't see the sun?
St. Louis Rams visit the Lions at 1 PM.
Me, I'll see bits and pieces. Cold weather will be upon us before you know it...
I'm going to walk my dog, do some lawn mowing and have a couple cold ones outside.

I went to the Titanic exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum on Saturday.
Took a couple baseball-related pics:
Here's a list of the first black players on each MLB team.

Here's a 1956 issue of Sports Illustrated...

Last night's line on Justin Verlander: 6 innings pitched, 9 hits, 6 runs, 2 walks and 3 Ks.
Last night's line on Mike Trout: 9 innings played, 1 homer, 2 times across the plate for runs, robbed Prince Fielder of a home run by snagging it over the wall in center field and took over the AL batting race by a point over Miguel Cabrera - who was ejected in the 4th inning for arguing balls and strikes.
Angels 6 - Tigers 1

Have a great day!
