THE TIME HAS COME

The Tigers have a 3-game lead in the AL Central after Sunday's 2-1 win in Minnesota and the White Sox' 6-2 home loss to Tampa Bay.
Detroit's magic number is 1 with 3 games remaining. So, I like their chances.
One win at Kansas City or one loss by the White Sox in Cleveland and the Tigers will repeat as AL Central champs.
Miggy continues his pursuit of the Triple Crown. He has a sizeable lead in the AL in RBIs with 136, but his .325 batting average is only 2 points ahead of Minnesota's Joe Mauer and his 43 homers are tied with Texas' Josh Hamilton.
When the Tigers beat the Royals, it will mark the first time in 77 years that Detroit has clinched back-to-back postseason berths.
