On Friday night, the Texas Rangers CRUSHED the Boston Red Sox 10-0!
Rangers' hurler Derek Holland pitched 7 innings of 2-hit, shutout baseball.
Holland allowed Jacoby Ellsbury and Adrian Gonzalez to hit singles - and that was all the offence the Red Sox could muster.
Ian Kinsler , David Murphy and Elvis Andrus homered and Boston starter Andrew Miller got lit-up. Miller lasted 1 1/3 innings, allowed 5 hits, 6 runs,
4 walks and had 1 strikeout.
With Boston down 10-0, Tim Wakefield took over in the top of the 6th inning and pitched 4 scoreless innings. Wake allowed 3 hits and added 3 Ks.
Kevin Youkilis returned to the lineup after a stint on the DL with a lower back strain.

Does this pic of Andrew Miller seem reminiscent of the cruxifiction of Christ?

The Oakland A's CRUSHED the Seattle Mainers 9-2.
Cliff Pennington and Hideki Matsui both had 3 a RBI-night.

The Detroit Tigers CRUSHED the Chicago White Sox 8-1.
The win was Jim Leyland's 500th victory as a Tigers' manager.
Leyland is 5th on the list: Sparky Anderson (1,331), Hughie Jennings (1,131), Bucky Harris (516), Steve O'Neill (509) and Jim Leyland (500).
Justin Velander pitched 7 1/3 innings, allowed 7 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and notched 6 Ks.
Austin Jackson had a homer and 2 RBIs and Jhonny Peralta had 3 RBIs.

ÜberDouchebag A.J. Pierzynski looks awesome with that 1980's porn 'stache.
He's lookin' kinda like Larry Bird circa 1984...

A wise investment, folks!
